Electrical engineer iv is ‘lucky’ to be working in NSW

Electrical engineer ii is a fortunate man after being offered a job at an electrical engineering school in NSW.

The man, from Gosford, has been working for a fortnight at the Electrical Engineering School in the state’s north west.

He said he had no idea how big a deal the position was when he applied.

“I had no clue,” he said.

“It was just a small job and it was just for about two weeks.”

So I thought ‘this is pretty cool, I can get some work done here’.

“I just didn’t know how big it was going to be.”

The job was a bit of a surprise to me, it was actually a bit more exciting than I thought.

“Mr McKeon said he did not know the school when he was applying.”

My initial reaction was ‘how do you know I am qualified to do this?’,” he explained.”

Then it just dawned on me it could be really good, it could really be something really big.

“He said the school was looking for experienced and qualified engineers and he was one of about 20 people who were considered for the job.”

There’s a lot of interest from the industry, it’s an opportunity for some really good engineers,” he added.

Mr McEwan is hoping to find a job with a larger organisation and a larger department in the future.”

Hopefully the next two years will be very fruitful,” he joked.”

But I think for now, I’m pretty lucky and I’m still getting my degree.
