bmjs electrical engineering and bbse systems are merging to form BAE’s new engineering division, the company said on Thursday.
The new division will be called BME Engineering, and will be led by senior engineering managers.
“We are delighted to be joining forces with BME to create a modern engineering powerhouse that will deliver world-class expertise in the areas of electric vehicle, aerospace, and aerospace-related engineering,” BME chief executive officer Steve Smith said in a statement.
The merger follows the merger of BAE Group’s aerospace, defence and defence-related businesses, and Bmj, which has also been spun off into its own company.
The companies will be based in the UK.
